Hobson Prior are seeking for a Head of Quality to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Herrenberg. Our client is focused on manufacturing over-the-counter self-care products.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will arrange the quality team in such a way to offer the most effective and efficient means of meeting regulatory, customer and internal shareholder needs.
• Form efficient, mutually beneficial relationships with the Site Lead, Head of Operations, Senior Management and key Shareholders internally on site, and company corporate to guarantee highly efficient teamwork and to distribute high quality, compliant products aligned with scheduled business priorities.
• Responsible for using expertise, education and experience to provide value adding solutions.
• The ideal candidate will host Competent Authority inspections, informed body and customer audits as needed and assure solid corrective actions are executed in a timely manner as well as in such a way as to uphold excellent compliance, effectiveness and efficiency and continuous improvement of quality standards.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educate to a degree level or similar in a scientific field, such as chemistry, biology and pharmacy.
• Demonstrable experience in a pharmaceutical / healthcare regulated organisation most of which should link to quality, such as covering design, develop, manufacture, testing, packaging storage and distribution of products.
• Familiarity in a senior quality role.
• Exhibited relationship building with Competent Authorities / any other regulatory authorities, professional working groups etc.
• Prior involvement in efficient management of teams with a background in leading and inspiring people to accomplish and exceed outlined objectives and to suitably handle situations where this is not the case.
• Knowledge of the EU pharmaceutical legislation which involves recent updates.
• Capable of recognising updates, shares with the business and offers effective, efficient proposals where suitable.
• Comprehension of GMPs for Cosmetics and Biocide products.
• Attainment of a Qualified Person status is not necessary but would be beneficial.
• Expertise on ISO22716 and EU 528/2012 would be advantageous.
