Group Lead - Global Medical Communications

Hobson Prior is seeking a Group Lead - Medical Communications Lead to join a brilliant pharmaceutical company on a permanent basis, located in Zurich . Our Client is focused on delivering life-transforming treatments which are guided by their commitment to patients, people and the planet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing medical education initiatives and publications for EUCAN (Europe & Canada) to support the rare disease portfolio and neuroscience and other Therapeutic Areas (TAs) as needed.
• Drive excellence and innovation for the EUCAN rare disease and neuroscience portfolio business and other TAs as necessary.
• Develop medical objectives, messages and narratives to support regional HCP medical education at congress and company events.

Requirements:

• Medical Scientific Degree or higher, preferred
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in an international medical affairs role, or in a medical communications agency.
• Experience in scientific publication or medical writing and editing.
• A background in rare diseases and neuroscience is preferred, as well as flexibility in terms of TAs.
• Insight to Omnichannel and Digital.
• Extensive experience in business partnering, including commercial, internal, and corporate communications, legal, compliance and local operations.
• Approximately 30% traveling with the potential of overnight stays.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken required (Fluent in German would be advantageous).
