Hobson Prior is working closely with a industry leading biotechnology organisation who is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist, located in Leiden. In this position, your primary responsibilities will include promoting GMP awareness, mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance throughout the manufacturing process. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about quality systems and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Foster understanding and continuously improve GMP awareness.
• Mentor colleagues in handling deviations and CAPAs.
• Track progress on deviations and CAPAs, and review/approve documentation.
• Oversee training assignments within the department.
• Support root-cause investigations for deviations, determine corrective actions, and implement change controls.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Degree in life sciences, biotechnology, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated proficiency in GMP manufacturing, quality systems, cell and gene therapy processes, automated bioreactors, and process validation.
• Ability to manage projects while collaborating openly to achieve company goals.
• Result-driven mindset with a commitment to quality and compliance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
