Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Global Project Manager to join a fantastic biotech organisation on a contract basis located in Basel. Our client is focused on supplying life-changing treatments for people with serious illnesses.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Key Responsibilities:
- As the Global Project Manager, you will be responsible for handling the knowledge shared between project teams to advance the project efficiency.
- Guide and handle planning for project breakthrough audits.
- You will produce and sustain cohesive project, resource and budget plans.
- Manage strategical organisation of dependencies, deadlines and budgets for all projects and operations within a field or project.
- Guarantee coherent usage of project and portfolio management (PPM) procedures and templates.
- The ideal candidate will manage project meetings such as sets agenda, enable meetings, edits and deliver minutes, follow-up on activity items, etc.
- Facilitate and assist in project risk management.
- Offer an affiliated and shared communication structure.
- Provide guidance on best practices and project management values.
- You will be the main point of control for program data, gathered from functions such as development as well as handle own version and launch of alterations such as project preparing, following and documenting.
- Any other assigned duties.

- Communication skills both verbally and written with the ability to guide, handle conflict, work well in a team, inspire, discuss, think critically and resolve issues.
Requirements:
- Educated to a degree level in a life science discipline such as biology, medicine, chemical, etc., or in an engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in a project management position within a regulated setting such as a healthcare or biotech organisation.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and G-Suite, as well as familiarity with Project Management tools such as Trello, Miro, Smartsheet, etc.
- Fluency in the English language with knowledge in German.
- Acquaintance with shareholder management within a matrix establishment in an international setting.
- Prior involvement in handling budgets, organising projects, handling risks and cross-functional project tasks.
