Formulation Scientist/Product Development

Hobson Prior are working alongside a fantastic pharmaceutical organisation who have an opening for a Formulation Scientist/Product Development on a contract basis. Our client is focused on supplying treatments that transform the lives of many.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will collaborate with others wo produce and review pharmaceutical technologies and formulations.
• To produce new formulations and optimise procedures in lab and pilot scale, the ideal candidate will plan and execute experiments.
• You will develop, characterise and document to evolve drug products.

Key Skills:

• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• An organised individual who can think analytically as well as work flexibly and with precision.
• Works well in a team setting as well as independently.
• Able to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree level in a chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering, food technology or similar discipline.
• Previous involvement working within a laboratory which involves operating computerised systems.
• Would be beneficial to have an acquaintance with working within a pharmaceutical organisation.
• Fluency in the English and/or Swedish languages.
