External Quality Lead

Hobson Prior are looking for an External Quality Lead to join a worldwide consumer good organisation where you will play a vital role in driving compliance and building expertise in control of external manufacturing. This is for a permanent position in Hull.

Job Responsibilities:

• Line management of Quality Officers and overall ownership for their associated activities (such as complaint management and technical manual processes).
• You will be key contact for all changes initiated by external manufacturing partners.
• Manage the implementation of changes controls, ensuring buy-in from cross-functional partners.
• Management of priority across the team across the team to meet business requirements.
• Create and manage KPI monitoring systems to ensure targets are achieved.

Requirements/Skills:

• You will have proven experience in managing both projects and direct reports.
• A confident self-starter who can utilise their experience, initiative and work independently.
• Strong communication skills and able to debate and negotiate with personnel from all levels of the organisation.
• You collaborate effectively and lead improvement
