Hobson Prior are currently looking for a DSP C&Q Engineer to join a brilliant CRO on a contract basis located in Lengnau. Our client is focused on facilitating their customers in making the world a cleaner, safer, and healthier place.

Key Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will act as a key member of the CVQ Team.
• You will be responsible for self-managing CQ execution activities with respect to the relevant systems.
• Responsible for maintaining control over the activities and schedule with respect to the relevant systems.
• You will prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Actively participate in the development and delivery of deliverables with respect to the relevant systems.
• Responsible for reporting and supporting in the resolution of project issues, including maintaining the punches and any deviations.
• Assist in assessing project risk and evaluating the effectiveness of mitigation strategies applied.
• Coordination and communication with other resources in CVQ and other Depts.
• Adherence to project procedures/requirements with respect to Health/Safety/Environmental, Quality (including GDP/GMP), CQ (including IQ, OQ, Commissioning).
• Liaise closely with the relevant vendors/providers/contractors, project Automation representatives to ensure integration of activities and schedules with respect to the relevant systems.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate for this role will require a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering.
• At least 4+ years of experience in CQV (IQ, OQ, Commissioning) activities in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Able to work with minimum oversight fulfilling deliverables within target dates.
• Fluent English language written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cGMP knowledge and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Strong biopharmaceutical knowledge.
• Proven Downstream Process system (Chromatography, UF/DF, Viral Filtration, Process Vessels), CIP, and SIP knowledge.
• Experience with tuning flow and pressure control on pump skids.
• Experience in transfer in/ out testing between Chroma and UF/DF systems and their partner systems.
• Experience with Column Packing.
• Experience with flow control on UF/DF systems.
• Experience with CIP and SIP of Chroma, UF/DF and process vessels.
• Experience with Running Recipes/ Unit Procedures on DSP systems.
• Experience with SCADA systems, preferably Siemens PLC.
• German is an advantage but not required.
