Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Drug Safety Physician to work remotely for our client who is dedicated to delivering patient-centred outcomes. This role will play a key role in overseeing, executing and managing PV programs for the organisations global clients and is expected to lead high performing teams of varied size on challenging assignments related to PV.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the authoring of new Risk Management Plans from scratch (new innovator RMPs, not only generics) and preparing RMP timelines.
  • Reviewing various sources of safety data for Signal detection.
  • Aggregate report writing (innovator PBRER/PSUR).
  • Authoring/reviewing RMP updates to Risk Management Plans from scratch (new innovator RMPs, not only generics).
  • Reviewing literature for signal purposes.

Requirements:

  • India: A minimum of a post graduate degree from a certified/accredited institution.
  • Any one of the following qualifications from a reputable university:-
    -B.Pharm and M.Pharm from any recognised university.
    -Ph.D or post graduate degree in life sciences.
    -BDS or BHMS or BAMS from any recognised university.
  • An MBBS degree is required to undertake the responsibilities of a safety physician. Candidates with MD will be preferred
  • UK: A minimum of a graduate degree in life sciences. A medical degree is required to undertake the responsibilities of a safety physician
  • US: Bachelors of Science Degree. A medical degree is required to undertake the responsibilities of a safety physician
  • At least 9-10 years of relevant PV experience either in a pharmaceutical company or with a CRO.
  • Experience in managing teams in PV domain will be preferred.
  • Good understanding of clinical development processes including principles of clinical study operations, and ICH-GCP guidelines.
  • Significant knowledge in PV requirements and/or guidelines will be preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications, e.g. MS Word / PowerPoint / Excel, will be required.
