Drug Safety Physician

Hobson Prior are looking for a Drug Safety Physician to join a world-wide pharmaceutical organisation to be based in Munich on a permanent basis. As the Drug Safety Physician, you will be a member of EU safety physician group at Clinical Safety & Pharmacovigilance department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable to generate and ensures timely submission of Periodic Safety Update Reports and Risk Management Plans for CV product.
• Review of study synopses/protocols, investigators brochures, study reports and regulatory documents.
• You will contribute and support the Regulatory Affairs department concerning creation of regulatory documents.
• Accountability for the medical review of aggregate regulatory documents, be accountable for safety surveillance, safety input and safety governance and risk management activities.
• Familiar with the assigned products, establishing the strategy, direction, and priorities of pharmacovigilance activities.
• On-going pharmacovigilance evaluation for medicinal products and creation of response documents for health authority requests.
• Medical-scientific analysis of clinical trials, Post Authorization Safety Studies and non-interventional studies concerning pharmacovigilance aspects.
• Creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures within Clinical Safety & Pharmacovigilance department.

Key Skills:

• Fluent English and German in written and spoken.
• Able to work across therapeutic areas and functions.

Requirements:

• Education as a physician (MD or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of database and coding systems.
• A minimum of 2+ years in a similar position within the pharmaceutical industry.
• You will have professional experience in medicine.
• High level of medical competence, with an ability to balance this with industry standards to achieve business goals.
