Drug Product Development Team Lead

Hobson Prior are in search for a Drug Product Development Team Leader to join a top biopharmaceutical organisation who are focused on delivering pioneering medicines to improve lives of people globally. This position will be accountable to lead the Drug Product Development team as part of the Formulation and Drug Product Development Department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to lead the Drug Product Development team and deliver a successful Drug Product Development manufacturing strategy.
• Accountable to grow and maintain fit-for -purpose facilities.
• Support cross functional and inter site interactions including third party contractors.
• Works within GMP / EHS requirements.

Key Skills:

• Strong Leadership skills.
• Skilled communicator able to lead discussions, managing diverse & multi-cultural technical teams, with good knowledge of the biopharmaceutical development industry.

Requirements:

• Degree level in a relevant discipline with extensive industrial experience of drug product process development and manufacturing.
• Experience in leading/mentoring development teams.
• Strong knowledge of CMC Drug Product Process development and GMP manufacturing.
