Downstream Process Development Scientist

Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Downstream Process Development Scientist to join a fantastic organisation on a contract basis located in Slough. Our client is focused on improving many people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will recognise and utilise suitable analytical practices.
• Assume purification process development experiments for comprehension of individual unit operations.
• Discuss discoveries with multi-disciplinary team members.
• Support the review of bio bioprocess purification technologies.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a pertinent discipline or corresponding work experience.
• Currently work within a pharmaceutical organisation or at least 1 year in a similar field.
• Capable of analysing data with a high attention to detail.
• Expertise on different downstream processing tools, with some familiarity with chromatography.
• Comprehension of analytical strategies for assessing product purity and antibody protein characterisation.
• Works well in a team.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
