DMC Biostatistician (remote-based)

Hobson Prior are seeking for a DMC Biostatistician to join a fantastic CRO on a permanent basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in the UK/EU. Our client is focused on providing remedies to individuals who require them.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will guide generation and quality control of randomisations, DMC analysis plans, DMC summary reports and any other procedure assisting documents.
• Conduct QC of unblinded tables, figures and data listings generated by any other members of the division.
• You will check your own work in a consistent manner to guarantee first time quality.
• Offer an assisting role as a non-voting independent statistician offering data and analysis for DMC evaluation.
• The ideal candidate will travel, attend and participate in all meetings when suitable, such as orientation meetings, presenting, discussing and interpreting study outcomes.
• Arrange and guide and independent team to successful accomplishment of a DMC within timelines and budget.
• Engage with clients as crucial contact with concern to statistical and contractual problems pertaining to DMCs.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Eligible to work in the UK/EU with no sponsorship.
• Familiarity with R or SAS programming.
• Works well independently.
• Acquaintance working with DMCs or similar evaluation committees.
• Prior involvement working on various studies/projects simultaneously would be beneficial to the role.
• Expertise on pharmacokinetic data would be beneficial.
