Key Responsibilities:

• For this role you will be a part of a team guiding the methodical development of a research therapy area in a leading biotech.
• Serve as the expert on disease therapy areas and keep updated on present technological and scientific development within the field.
• You will craft novel discovery projects in therapy area and guide project team(s) of scientists effectively.
• Instigate, plan, handle and distribute projects to enhance the company's drug discover and development pipeline, serving to milestones, timelines and shareholders.
• The ideal candidate will engage in innovative technical development to assist with therapy area.
• Responsible for keeping abreast of the competitive landscape in the allocated area and linked therapeutic approaches.
• Partake in or take lead in cross-functional project teams both internally and externally.
• Conduct risk management examinations with the team and any other pertinent shareholders.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree level in a scientific field with demonstrable experience in the areas of autoimmunity, immunology or immunotherapy.
• Demonstrable experience in discovery and early-stage product development and/or review within organisation or academia.
• Familiarity guiding cross-functional research teams within a matrix environment.
• Acquaintance with handling cooperations with external partners.
• Works well in a team.
• Keen to work at the forefront of novelty and able to adapt to various situations.
• An open mindset with a high attention to detail.
