Hobson Prior is working with a leading pharmaceutical organisation who are seeking a Director of Engineering to join their team on a permanent basis and have the ability to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be evaluating present installations against EHS legislation.
• Comment on suggested equipment, layouts, people and resources flows.
• Assume and finalise technical walkdowns of current installations to red line drawings.
• Generate written documents describing the risks and non-compliance of present installations.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in an engineering, science, or similar discipline.
• At least 2 - 5 years of experience in validation services within a regulated, manufacturing setting in a biotech, pharmaceutical or medical device organisation.
• Familiarity with implementing protocols which involves systems such as Process Validation, utilities, manufacturing equipment.
• Laboratory validation knowledge.
• Prior involvement with temperature mapping.
• Know-how of FDA and cGMP guidelines and documentation techniques.
• Comprehension of piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs), as well as electrical diagrams.
• Able to outline issues, gather data, form facts and draw pertinent conclusions.
• Understanding of and ability to carry out instructions equipped in written, oral, diagram, mathematical, or schedule structure.
