Hobson Prior is seeking a Director of Clinical QA to permanently join our client's pharmaceutical organization. In this role, you will lead the Clinical Quality Assurance team, ensuring clinical trials are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. You will also provide quality oversight, support regulatory inspections, and drive continuous improvement in clinical research processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Clinical Quality Assurance team, defining tasks and responsibilities.
• Ensure clinical trials comply with regulations and guidelines, providing compliance advice to relevant teams.
• Oversee the preparation, conduct, and follow-up of regulatory inspections for clinical studies.
• Review clinical documents to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement audit programs for clinical research activities, including study sites and service providers.
• Stay updated on the latest GCP regulations and industry best practices.
• Act as a liaison between corporate quality assurance and clinical research teams.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying compliance gaps and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide quality input for special projects and ongoing support to clinical research staff.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A university degree, preferably in medical or biosciences.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, industry best practices, and clinical research regulations.
• Experience in quality management, including auditing, is desirable.
• Background in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry, particularly in Clinical QA or Clinical Operations.
• Ability to manage budgets and oversee financial responsibilities related to Clinical QA.
