Hobson Prior is working closely with a biopharmaceutical company seeking a Demand Planner for a contract role. The Demand Planner will be the main point of contact between the Global Supply Function and the Marketing Company for your markets, focusing on reviewing and analyzing forecast data to ensure alignment with sales and market stock requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Marketing Companies to understand market demand and align the Supply Organisation accordingly.
• Monitor performance through KPIs and improve supply & forecast performance.
• Manage demand shortages and exceptional short-term demand changes between Marketing Companies & Pack Sites.
• Work within the SAP APO system and our new Planning System OMP, balancing supply from global sites with Marketing Company demand.
• Participate in new product launches in your markets/brands, and switch activities resulting from divestments or product discontinuations.
• Involve in various projects, initiatives and improvements.

Requirements

• A degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering is preferred.
• SAP experience (ECC & APO) is a plus.
• Understanding of Supply Chain Management and experience from a Planning Role.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively - strong communication skills, especially across cultures.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and pro-actively.
• Ability to prioritize critical tasks.
• Proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English.
• Additional language from Eastern Europe or the Balkans is a plus.
