Hobson Prior are looking for a Demand Planner to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis. Our client is focused on changing the future of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be involved within new product launches in market/brand, and switch actions resulting from divestments or product discontinuations.
• Collaborate with MCs to comprehend what is driving demand in the market and to guarantee that supply organisation is in line.
• For this role, you will handle demand shortages and exceptional short-term demand changes between MCs and Pack Sites.
• Operate within the SAP APO system and the company's new planning system OMP, balancing supply from international sites with MC demand and within numerous other planning systems.
• Drive the market pre-IBP with MCs and use this information to prepare the market demand/intelligence contributions for the brand IBP meetings.
• Monitor performance through KPIs and make improvements to supply and predict performance.
• Provide support on a variety of other projects, initiatives and improvements.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Comprehension of supply chain management and familiarity within a planning role.
• Demonstrable analytical experience.
• Educated to a degree level in a business, logistics, science or engineering field would be ideal though corresponding work experience will be taken into consideration as well.
• Acquaintance with SAP such as ECC & APO.
