Hobson Prior are looking for a Lead Biostatistician to join a global Pharmaceutical company who specialise within 3 core business units which are Specialty care, Vaccines and General healthcare. This is a 6 months contract position based in Paris.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical support to the 'Lead Biostatistician' on Phase I and Phase II (Proof of Concept) studies within the company's Immunology and Rare Disease portfolios.
• Support and lead, when required, aspects of study design including the development of Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP), review of CRFs and study protocols, sample size calculations and review of final Clinical Study Reports.
• Support the development and implementation of innovative statistical methodologies into trial design - including Adaptive Design, Bayesian, Quantitative methods, etc.
• Act as a primary point of contact for external vendor project teams to manage the timeframes associated with the completion of statistical analyses and interpretation the statistical results.

Requirements:

• PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Mathematics or a related topic.
• 3+ years' experience as a Statistician within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO industry.
• Experience using SAS or R programming software is required.
• Experience in Immunology studies would be a plus, but is not a requirement.
