Hobson Prior are currently looking for a CMC Analytical Development Senior Scientist to join a fantastic pharmaceutical organisation on a permanent basis located in Gosselies. Our client is focused on establishing the finding and development of new generations of remedies for those suffering from cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be selecting, qualifying and handling CROs actions within analytical chemistry.
• Responsible for QC management under the scope of subcontractor's cooperation
• Collaborate with CMC project manager to recognise the risks connected to the project as well as guarantee mitigation activities are put in place.
• You will partake in the review and characterisation of impurities.
• Outline the analytical development method as well as guide the analytical development actions at CDMOs.
• Guarantee analytical strategy development, validation, and transfer for drug substance and drug product analysis such as non GMP and GMP, with respect of project planning.
• The ideal candidate will assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Cooperate with the international head of CMC to set vague objectives for the devoted projects.
• Any other assigned duties.

Key Skills:

• Capable of working well independently while under minimal supervision, and within a team.
• Interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree level or equivalent training in analytical chemistry.
• At least 8 years of experience within CMC.
• Know-how of analytical chemistry, ideally in method development and validation, troubleshooting and CRO management.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Computer literacy in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
• Acquaintance with working within a cross-functional setting, partaking in cross-functional teams.
