Hobson Prior is seeking a Clinical Scientist for a contract role based in London. The ideal candidate will be able to work quickly and independently with a background in biotech ATMP or smaller pharma. The role involves working with our clinical development team and reporting to a Medical Director. The key focus will be on understanding cleaning and presenting clinical safety data sets in an early stage/pre-marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly review serious adverse events (SAEs) and queries to investigators.
• Support the cleaning of safety data and oversee signal management to identify significant trends.
• Manage pharmacovigilance processes for SAEs and adverse events of special interest (AESI).
• Work with data management and clinical operations to ensure data entry meets requirements.
• Oversee any regulatory reporting or actions required.
• Update Drug Safety Update Report (DSUR) and Investigator's Brochure (IB).
• Support preparations for meetings including interpretation of safety data from tables and listings.
• Provide input on transformation plans for our ongoing data management transformation initiative.

Requirements

• Ability to work quickly and independently.
• Background in biotech ATMP or smaller pharma.
• Experience in understanding cleaning and presenting clinical safety data sets.
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and safety risk management processes.
