Hobson Prior are looking for a Clinical Scientist to join a Swiss global healthcare company to help contribute to the late stage clinical development of treatments for multiple sclerosis and other neuro-inflammatory indications.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Clinical Scientist assists Senior Clinical Scientists and/or Medical Directors in all areas of project and study planning, evaluation, documentation and medical monitoring, including annual report development, protocol development, medical monitoring for patients in the program and ongoing clinical review for safety. You would be responsible for all scientific aspects in a study.
• Assist in the timely medically and scientifically sound development of the clinical development plan.
• Ensure GCP and Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
• Ensure correct data interpretation including interim and final study reports before they are approved.
• You will have close and frequent interactions with a number of other functions including operations, biometrics, safety, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs.
• You will have close and frequent, but remote interactions with other members of the global team located in the UK and in South San Francisco.

• Ability to evaluate, interpret & synthesize scientific data, and can verbally present and critically discuss clinical trial data in internal and external meetings
• Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree, preferably a Phd.
• Experience working on multi-functional global development teams.
• Preferable to have experience in drug development within the biopharmaceutical industry and/or prior experience in running trials in the Neurology space.
