Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Clinical Scientist Director to join a brilliant biotech organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on finding and developing therapeutics.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will assist the senior clinical development personnel on study protocols and amendments cooperating cross-functionally to translate the method and approved idea into implementable, effective clinical protocols and linked documents.
• Work alongside internal/external experts in biostatistics, clinical pharmacology, translational medicine, clinical operations and data management, partake in the plans to implement one or more trials which involves CRF design, laboratory manual review, data review plan and the statistical analysis plan.
• Write/evaluate clinical contributions to clinical study reports and clinical portions of clinical and regulatory documents.
• Responsible for developing site and CRA training materials and presenting these at PSVs/SIVs and external meetings.
• Guarantee that CRF deign supports data gathering in line with the protocol in cooperation with data management/programming.
• Work cross-functionally to supervise clinical data for specific trends.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in a pertinent clinical scientist role specialising in Oncology.
• Familiarity within sponsor, particularly a biotech environment.
• Comprehension of the drug development process from pre-clinical steps through registration and post-registration needed.
• Capable of comprehending, and discussing clinical information which involves literature reviews, competitive intelligence, and changing treatment paradigms.
• A resourceful self-starter who is energetic.
