Hobson Prior is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join a dynamic team in Nijmegen, Netherlands. This role focuses on supporting clinical trials in the cardiovascular field. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of research activities, patient coordination, and compliance with protocols. This is a contract position for at least six months, requiring 24 hours per week.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Inform patients about the clinical trial, including assessments, procedures, and eligibility criteria.
  • Review patient medical history and test results to determine eligibility based on protocol requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate research activities, including scheduling appointments with physicians and specialists.
  • Manage logistics such as transporting biological materials and ensuring timely medication supply.
  • Monitor the quality and progress of the clinical trial across hospital departments.
  • Act as the main point of contact for study participants, addressing medical complaints and guiding them through the trial process.
  • Provide support and education to patients and their families throughout the trial.
  • Ensure compliance with local procedures, regulations, and instructions, addressing any concerns.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for sponsor monitors and facilitate monitoring visits or audits.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry into trial-related systems.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong experience in clinical research coordination.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in administrative and data entry tasks.
