Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Clinical Program Manager to join a biotech organisation on a permanent basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Germany with occasional visits to Aachen. Our client is focused on changing lives for the better.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for operational implementation of clinical programs and/or clinical trial(s) from idea through to accomplishment.
• Accountable for delivery of clinical trial(s) to budget, timelines and quality.
• Guide and monitor the study team through planning, set-up, performance and closure of the clinical trial(s) within an allocated program, which involves trial budgets, rolling predictions and timelines/milestones.
• Guarantee Sponsor oversight and delivery through effective and efficient management of the clinical Contract Research Organisation (CRO) and other vendors rendering to the company's SOPs and the Sponsor Oversight Plan and any connected sub-plans.
• Responsible for ownership of study risk management plan.
• Review and analyse the impact of anticipated, new and updated program risks for the clinical trial(s) and vice versa.
• You will continuously assess and action on 'operational' risks reported by Functional Experts and/or external suppliers on trial level and handle efficient communication to all internal shareholders.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in a pharmaceutical company, biotech firm, or CRO, which should involve experience within operational and managerial tasks such as planning/start-up and implementation of clinical trials.
• Global and intracultural acquaintance in Clinical Operations.
• Works well both independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team with leadership capabilities in a multifaceted matrix setting.
• Familiarity in CRO/vendor selection, CRO/vendor oversight.
• Familiarity in developing effective relationship with external suppliers, which might involve budget negotiations and contracting.
