Hobson Prior is seeking a Clinical Neurophysiologist for a permanent role in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting data during surgical procedures, preparing patients for surgery, and maintaining infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret data during various surgical procedures.
• Provide real-time feedback to the surgical team during operations.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including the application of scalp electrodes and other monitoring devices.
• Explain the neurodiagnostic procedure to patients and answer their questions.
• Prepare a preliminary report describing the recording throughout the procedure.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterile techniques, especially when handling monitoring instruments that enter the sterile field.

Requirements

• Ability to monitor and interpret data during surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to explain procedures to patients and provide feedback to the surgical team.
• Attention to detail in preparing patients for surgery and maintaining infection control standards.
• Ability to prepare preliminary technical reports.
