Hobson Prior is seeking a Clinical Logistics Senior Specialist. This role involves managing the logistics of clinical trial products, ensuring their safe and secure journey. You will work with various teams, including clinical operations, data management, and quality assurance. This role is part of the study management team and reports to the Clinical Operations Logistics Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics for clinical trials, working with cross-functional teams.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the enrolment of clinical trial participants.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the journey of study participant samples, including shipping, processing, and return of products to clinical trial sites.
  • Communicate study requirements and ensure adherence to the process.
  • Assist in improving the process, including patient scheduling and treatment.
  • Prepare updates for management and identify potential study issues.
  • Work with contract research organizations to communicate timelines and performance expectations.
  • Lead internal team meetings and provide training at investigator meetings.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental processes.
  • Create and manage clinical logistics programs.
  • Support cross-functional projects.
  • Travel as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in clinical or logistics roles.
  • Knowledge of Clinical Trials, specifically Cell Therapy is a plus.
  • Ability to work with multiple database and electronic systems. Experience with Oracle/ERP, courier, and material ordering portals, considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of FDA and ICH requirements as they pertain to clinical trials.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international logistics/transport of biologic material.
  • Ability to manage processes and teams.
  • Ability to author documents.
  • Ability to present at study meetings.
  • Ability to partner with other functions.
