Hobson Prior is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Clinical Drug Delivery Device Lead. In this role, the successful candidate will define and implement strategies for drug delivery devices used in clinical trials. They will collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure timely support and lead sub-teams to select and assess appropriate devices. This position can be considered in three locations: Slough, UK; Braine, France; and Bulle, Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement strategies for drug delivery devices in clinical trials.
• Collaborate with clinical, QA, RA, safety, and SME teams to support clinical trials.
• Lead sub-teams to ensure appropriate selection and assessment of drug delivery devices.
• Perform technical assessments for devices used in clinical trials and selected by CROs.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Relevant academic background, ideally in nursing or medicine.
• Strong knowledge of medical devices and pharmaceutical environments.
• Experience in clinical trials set-up.
• Understanding of issues and challenges in selecting devices for clinical trials from FIH to Phase 4.
• Thorough knowledge of Medical Devices Regulations (EU MDR, 21CFR part 820, ISO13485) and GxP (GMP and GCP).
