Clinical Data Manager

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Clinical Data Manager to join a brilliant CRO on a permanent basis located in Chelsea. Our client is focused on performing scientific, clinical and outcomes research relating to cardiovascular disease.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will have oversight of personnel training for all projects which allocated with direct involvement in both training and monitoring personnel allocated to training.
• Conduct close out audit, as specified, for closing of study trial in EDC or any other clinical data management databases.
• You will produce CRF and eCRF finalised regulations and EDC system manuals and access instructions.
• Support in outlining and/or producing data listings, summary table validation, data specifications and/or data transfers in planning for statistical evaluation and/or data management audit.
• Guarantee that all data management operations are performed to the company's SOPs as well as partake in the current revision/improvement of these SOPs.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for reconciliation of data from external sources, such as serious adverse events, IVRS, central lab, etc.
• Generate information/reports directly from the clinical database or through the suitable protocol to request a new report from the suitable division or supplier.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a life science, nursing or similar discipline.
• Eligible to work within the UK without sponsorship.
• A high attention to detail.
• Computer literacy with the ability to acclimate to multiple computer systems.
• At least 2 years of experience in data management or any other pertinent work experience within clinical research.
• Know-how of good clinical practices, clinical research, clinical trial process and any other pertinent regulatory needs and vocabulary.
• Know-how of clinical database applications, for example: EDC, CTMS, etc.
• Capable of training new personnel.
• Able to supervise the performance of new personnel.
