Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technologist

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technologist to join a brilliant CDMO on a permanent basis located in Basel. Our client is focused on improving people's lives through development and manufacture of registered starting materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will adhere to cGMP guidelines, compliance needs and standards with concern to occupational safety, process safety, health and environmental protection.
• Guarantee a smooth production procedure such as physical product documentation, cGMP, HSE, data integrity.
• Contribute to improvements of the company's pilot plants and production facilities and their procedures.
• The ideal candidate will prepare, execute and supervise the production and promotion of proper operational and purification instructions, rendering to the protection schedule in the company's pilot and production plant.
• Implement simple analytical tests, reviews, detection and reporting of aberrations.
• You will dismantle and configure systems rendering to the instructions.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Accomplished training as a chemical technician or as a chemical and pharmaceutical technologist with at least 1-2 years of experience in a multi-purpose production or corresponding experience in a chemical multi-purpose production role.
• Implement work and documentation rendering to cGMP specifications experience and/or familiarity with PAH analysis would be beneficial.
• Computer literacy in MS-Office and expertise on process control systems.
• Fluency in the German language with knowledge in English would be advantageous.
• Communications skills both verbally and in writing.
