Hobson Prior is seeking a Biomarker Scientific Monitor & Study Coordinator for a contract role based in Basel, Switzerland. This role involves managing and coordinating clinical studies, focusing on biomarker assays. You will be responsible for reviewing and developing operational aspects of clinical study protocols, managing sample logistics, and monitoring complex biomarker assays.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop operational aspects of global clinical study protocols, including manuals, consent forms, and sample collection tables.
• Set up, implement, and monitor complex biomarker assays at external service providers.
• Support data transfer and data flow in relevant IT systems for managed biomarkers and studies.
• Update study and project information in relevant IT systems.

Requirements

• Degree in life science with experience in clinical operations and/or clinical bioanalysis.
• Strong knowledge of global study start up, clinical operations, clinical sample analysis, and management of external service providers.
• Proven ability to contribute independently to global clinical studies and clinical operations.
• Experience working with external service providers and monitoring biomarker work.
• Experience in method development and troubleshooting for complex bioanalytical and biomarker assays.
• EU/EFTA Citizen or Valid Swiss work permit is required.
