Hobson Prior is seeking a Biomarker Clinical Operations Lead to be responsible for managing the operational aspects of biomarker and diagnostic samples in clinical studies. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the smooth execution of clinical trials, focusing on delivering high-quality data and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on biomarker operations to clinical study teams.
• Develop and implement plans for managing biomarker samples and data.
• Oversee all biomarker-related activities in clinical studies, including vendor management and data quality assurance.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to set up labs and manage sample logistics.
• Select and manage biomarker vendors, ensuring they meet quality and budget requirements.
• Work with data management teams to coordinate data delivery.
• Serve as the main contact for biomarker operations across multiple study teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct training sessions and presentations on biomarker procedures.
• Address questions or issues related to biomarker samples from health authorities.
• Identify and implement best practices and process improvements.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in Life Sciences or related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Experience in clinical research or laboratory settings.
• Strong background in clinical development and project management.
• Knowledge of drug development processes and regulations.
• Experience with biological sample processing and analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are beneficial.
