Biology Research Associate

Hobson Prior are seeking for a Biology Research Associate to join a fantastic pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis located in Zurich. Our client is focused on supplying life-changing remedies for various diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this position, you will investigate new mechanisms to distribute drugs to the tumor setting.
• Evolve and execute new assays required for the success of the project.
• Accountable for acknowledging subjects and conduct duties that are requires to accomplish the goals of the project.
• The ideal candidate will implement assays needed for the project.
• You will conduct data gathering, analysis and comprehension.
• Any other assigned duties.

• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• A motivated individual who is flexible on working difficult frontline projects.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a biology or chemistry field, not at a PhD level.
• At least 1+ year of experience with functional assay development and optimisation.
• Competent with immune cell characterisation practices such as ELISA, lymphocyte activation, multi-colour flow cytometry, etc.
• Comprehension of immune cell biology, cell signalling and cancer biology.
• Familiarity with cellular and molecular biology.
• Past involvement in using FACS analysis - FlowJo and GraphPad prism.
• Fluency in the English language.
