BI Analytics & Data Warehouse Expert

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a BI Analytics & Data Warehouse Expert to join a brilliant biotech organisation on a contract basis located in Allschwil. Our client is focused on finding, evolving and commercialising novel remedies to help more people with illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will share HQ client methods and projects with high influence on regional country business development.
• Recognise matters with systems/procedures and suggest solutions or improvements.
• To optimise analysis, you will manipulate and transform data.
• Form and uphold relations with clients, suppliers and teams on an internal basis at pharma data on an external basis.
• You will assist in local country and international teams to recognise commercial portfolio prospects.
• Serve as the main point of contact to communicate system connected issues cooperating with the IT teams and software supplier on modifications, fixes and updates.
• When suitable, ensure conformity with CSV needs, IT guidelines and standards.
• To warrant client satisfaction, you will manage current troubleshooting, user assistance and uphold the systems.
• Accomplish numerous ad-hoc deliverables for clients that meet conditions given by the client.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a computer science, information systems or similar discipline.
• At least 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics of commercial, marketing and sales connected data.
• Ideally at least 5 years of experience within a pharmaceutical organisation.
• Prior involvement in analytical tool handling and/or Microsoft Power BI or any other analytical tools such as Qlik, Tableau, etc.
• Familiarity with data warehouse management, data incorporation, ETL, Data Modelling, SQL, query building.
• Acquaintance with relational database such as Amazon Redshift, Oracle and/or SQL Server would be beneficial for the role.
• Former involvement in handling software as a service (SaaS).
• To solve performance and outstanding user experience with technology and IT teams, you will be able to deliver world class IT services which involves system availability/stability, mean time.
• Proficient with pharmaceutical organisation techniques and guidelines and its pertinency to IT.
• Prior involvement in Veeva/IQVIA commercial data portfolio would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with any pharmaceutical data supplier on an external basis would be beneficial but not necessary for the role.
• To comprehend business challenges and prospects and deliver pertinent IT solutions, you will be capable of engaging and leveraging materials and expertise both internally and externally.
• Capable of comprehending issues and display solutions towards business associates.
• Fluency in the English language with knowledge in French and/or German would be advantageous for the role.
