Hobson Prior are currently seeking for an Associate Safety Director to join a fantastic pharmaceutical establishment on a contract basis. Our client is focused on providing life-changing novel remedies for various illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be accountable for both individual and cumulative case reporting actions, which involves ICSR case management such as medical evaluation and cumulative reporting such as DSUR, PBRER, etc.
• Partake in the development of the product safety and offer drug safety contributions into the clinical development method.
• You will contribute to drug monitoring committees or internal monitoring committee meetings when suitable.
• Write or participate in scientific publications such as abstracts, posters, papers, etc., for scientific meetings/journals.
• Any other assigned duties.

Key Skills:

• Presentation abilities.
• Able to mentor others on divisional practices and procedures.
• Works well with remote associates on an international team as well as cross-functionally.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a life science field or obtained a healthcare professional qualification.
• At least 4+ years of experience in drug development within a pharmaceutical or similar organisation, which involves at least 2 years of experience in drug safety or similar.
• Comprehension of GxP and regulated procedures and end-to-end clinical trial lifecycle.
• Able to focus on process improvement.
• Capable of implementing multifaceted data analysis / statistical strategies to review, comprehend, and display scientific data with precision.
• High capacity to implement project management strategy.
