Hobson Prior are looking for an Associate Pharmacovigilance Manager to join a leading CRO where you will be required to work remotely within the UK. This is an entry level role into the PVG Management Team, with potential to develop a career within the Pharmacovigilance Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide advice on pharmacovigilance strategy and requirements for investigational and marketed products to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
  • Lead/participate in specific projects as directed.
  • Partake in client meetings and liaise with clients regarding ongoing projects.
  • Assist with establishing clients' pharmacovigilance systems including preparation and/or review of SOPs, safety management plans and pharmacovigilance data management plan.
  • Assist with maintenance of the organisations pharmacovigilance systems including preparation and/or review of SOPs, working instructions and other working tools such as forms and spread sheets and safety databases.
  • Prepare, coordinate and review key pharmacovigilance related regulatory documents for both investigational and marketed products, including the DSUR, PSUR, PBRER, EU-RMP, PSMF, SDEA.
  • Maintain oversight of project activities and provide input into invoicing for specified projects.

Requirements:

  • A life science degree or equivalent.
  • Motivated and the ability to work independently.
  • Employees within the Clinical Development division work flexibly.
  • In agreement with their line manager and in line with organisational priorities, employees have the flexibility to choose how, where and when they work.
  • You will have +3years PVG experience.
  • Experience of Pharmacovigilance including case assessment.
  • Experience within a CRO environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with small biotech companies would be advantageous.
  • Good understanding of EU GVP legislation.
