Associate in Display Technologies

Hobson Prior are currently looking for an Associate in Display Technologies to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis. Our client is focused on supplying novel remedies for various illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be responsible for processing, evaluating, and gathering all the data of recognised binder candidates.
• Author laboratory documents and display outcomes to other team members and project teams.
• You will use ground-breaking automation equipment for screening promising antibody clones as well as be accountable for further characterisation of the candidates using protein-protein interactions such as ELISA, SPR, FACS, etc.
• To execute new technologies, the ideal candidate will consistently improve present processes and procedures.
• The ideal candidate will design in vitro selection tactics such as phage display and ribosomal display and perform experiments for the successful recognition of antibody candidates.
• Acquainted with the biochemical characterisation of proteins, such as WB, PAGE, DotBlot, etc.

Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree level in a biotechnology, biochemistry, or biological sciences discipline.
• At least 2 - 3 years of experience working at an associate level within a pharma organisation.
• Laboratory knowledge in molecular biology.
• Comprehension of in vitro selection such as phage display, ribosome display, etc.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Know-how of SPR, FACS and/or automation would be beneficial.
