Hobson Prior is seeking a Programming Team Leader. This role involves leading and developing a team of programmers, managing training and ensuring a productive and collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing risk, ensuring quality and compliance, and driving continuous improvement within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of programmers.
• Ensure a productive and collaborative work environment.
• Manage training and compliance.
• Recruit and build a team with the necessary skills.
• Stay updated on industry and regulatory requirements.
• Manage activities of external partners.
• Ensure quality and compliance in all programming aspects.
• Drive continuous improvement within the team.
• Provide training and mentorship within the function.
• Influence stakeholders on programming related items.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life Science, or equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of the clinical development process.
• Comprehensive understanding of industry standards.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and global teams.
• Ability to manage risk in complex situations.
• Current knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.
