In this role, you will lead the pharmacovigilance function, provide strategic guidance and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the pharmacovigilance team, ensuring resources are effectively utilized.
• Provide strategic direction to meet organizational goals and objectives.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of an effective pharmacovigilance system.
• Represent the department in senior leadership meetings, presenting updates and contributing to company strategy.
• Build and maintain a motivated, high-performing team by delegating responsibilities and fostering a supportive, inclusive culture.
• Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and ensure professional development.
• Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert for pharmacovigilance internally and externally.
• Support business development strategies and represent the company in negotiations with clients and partners.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A degree in life sciences or healthcare.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets and contributing to commercial decision-making.
• Knowledge of finance and organizational agility.
• Proven ability to build and develop teams while fostering an inclusive work environment.
• Desirable: Eligibility to be named as a Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV).
