Hobson Prior are currently seeking for an Analytical Scientist - Bioreactor Analytical and Validation to join a brilliant medical device organisation on a permanent basis located in Hertfordshire. Our client is focused on automation of manufacturing strategies and scaling up of cells.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will guide and implement a complex analytical method process and performance validation.
• Responsible for designing and executing validation protocols that specifically acknowledge the diverse analytical aspects of bioreactor performance.
• Produce, analyse and comprehend data obtained from bioreactor experiments, offering a holistic view of process performance and possible areas for optimisation.
• You will drive for constant improvement initiatives in analytical strategies, to grow the precision, accuracy, and effectiveness of each analytical component.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Familiarity and competency within the development and implementation of a comprehensive suite of analytical strategies, which involves microscopy, flow cytometry, gene expression analysis, and metabolite analysis.
• Acquaintance with molecular biology practices, for example: PCR, qPCR, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, ELISA, etc.
• Experience within validation protocols and regulatory needs for cell therapies, such as with immunological assays: phenotyping, cytotoxicity, activation, degranulation, depletion, cytokine detection, trans well migration, etc.
