Hobson Prior is seeking a PowerBI Solution Architect to join our team in Munich, Germany. In this role, you will focus on developing data insights and analytics solutions to support strategic decision-making in the medical devices industry. We are looking for someone who can effectively use PowerBI and related tools to visualize and model complex data, creating valuable reports for business use.

Details of the activity:

Responsibility for the development of data insights and analytics solutions for informed strategic decision-making around commercial excellence.
Application and optimization of PowerBI and Power Query for visualizing and modeling complex data and creating meaningful reports for the business.
Implementing data products using Snowflake to create a central, consistent data foundation for the organization.
Analysis and linking of internal and external data sources (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, IQVIA data) to identify market trends and develop operational improvements.
Coordination with commercial and IT using common tools such as Jira and Confluence
Management of data projects, including implementation and rollout of IT solutions for various business areas.

Requirements:

Successfully completed studies in economics, natural sciences, IT or a related discipline are desirable.
Professional experience in the pharmaceutical or life science industry with a focus on data analytics, digitalization projects and commercial excellence.
Proven expertise in using Power BI, Power Query and data modelling
Experience with Snowflake is an advantage
Knowledge of SQL and experience in dealing with complex and heterogeneous data sources.
Experience in managing projects, ideally with certifications in an agile context.
Passion for data-driven decision-making, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to present complex technical issues in an understandable way for different target groups.
Very good communication skills in German and English.
