Hobson Prior is seeking a dedicated Patent Administrator for a 12-month contract role. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting a team of Patent Attorneys and is skilled in coordinating with various teams to manage deadlines. The role involves tracking and updating due dates via the Memotech Database system and preparing applications for filing via EPO, UKIPO, PCT online filing tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide IP administration support to a team of Patent Attorneys as required.
• Coordinate with attorneys and administration team to identify and manage deadlines.
• Track and update due dates via Memotech Database system.
• Handle patent formalities such as preparing documents like POAs, Assignments using templates.
• Prepare applications for filing via EPO, UKIPO, PCT online filing tools.

Requirements

• UK CIPA qualification.
• Previous experience in a patent administration role.
• Good working knowledge of online filing tools (EPO OLF, ePCT, UK filings) is advantageous.
