Hobson Prior is seeking an Analytical Development - Quality Control Manager to join a biotech team in Allschwil, Switzerland. In this role, you will focus on ensuring that drug substances and products meet quality standards during development and comply with regulatory guidelines. You will manage external labs, develop analytical methods, and oversee documentation and data interpretation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and quality control of drug substances and products.
• Manage external labs to ensure timely and compliant delivery of clinical materials.
• Act as the main contact for third-party labs and supervise their tasks.
• Develop and implement analytical methods for testing purity, stability, and other properties.
• Represent the analytical team in project meetings.
• Ensure proper documentation of all analytical activities.
• Review and interpret analytical data and write reports.
• Support budget planning and monitor program spending.
• Lead external lab work for troubleshooting and special investigations.
• Set and achieve product development timelines.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, biology, or chemical engineering.
• Strong background in analytical chemistry and knowledge of GMP/regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage professionals effectively and work independently.
• Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in English with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in developing and performing analytical tests for drug substances and products.
