Today, Hobson Prior has published new research into global mobility within the European life sciences workforce. Based on over 1,500 survey responses, the report – Global mobility in life sciences – explores how skills demand and candidate motives are driving the trend for international careers.
Our report reveals that 40% of respondents have relocated overseas for work, with contractors 9% more likely to have moved abroad than professionals in permanent positions. The top destinations for life science workers include Switzerland, the UK and Germany – with the UK coming out on top for offering faster career progression.
