Business Analyst

Description:

Purpose 
The role will primarily be focused on supporting the UK and Ireland on Analytics with offering support on the Veeva CRM. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the business is maximising all the benefits of data and analytics as well as looking for opportunities to improve reports and add additional benefit to users and the business. This role would also be responsible for the business in maximising all the benefits that Veeva can provide as well as looking for opportunities to improve the process/user experience around Veeva. 
The Business Operation team is small, so the role offers a large amount of variety with as much stretch as you would like. The benefit of being a small team is we cover and support each other so can gain additional skills and knowledge. 
Analytics 
• Experience of working in a Pharmaceutical analytics role 2 year + experience – Essential 
• Sales & activity reporting experience – Essential 
• Experience of requirement gathering and system/data testing - Preferred 
• Experience of working with field-based teams – Preferred 
• Can demonstrate confident in stakeholder management – Preferred 
• Can demonstrate and be competent in actively promoting new platform features and drive adoption - Preferred 
• Can be proactive and drive business case development for new features and improvements to work practices – Preferred 
• Familiarity of Tableau data visualisation tool – Preferred 
• Support with automation of reports - Preferred 
• Offer reporting solutions for users to maximize the benefit of the data- Preferred 

CRM 
• Experience of working with Salesforce/Veeva CRM 2 years + experience - Essential 
• In house Pharmaceutical company experience within a CRM/Systems/Analytics role– Essential 
• Proven experience of supporting, training and managing change of a system rollout – Essential 
• Experience of working with field-based teams – Preferred 
• Can demonstrate confident in stakeholder management – Preferred 
• Can demonstrate and be competent in actively promoting new platform features and drive adoption - Preferred 

Can be proactive and drive business case development for new features and improvements to work practices - Preferred

• Extremely efficient and organised 
• Adaptable and able to deal with pressurised environment 
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to take the initiative 
• Willingness to be responsible for tasks and their own actions 
• Excellent computer skills; good knowledge of Word and Outlook is essential; intermediate to advanced level Excel 
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) 
• Working as part of a very busy small team in the UK affiliate so interpersonal skills are very important 
• Some travelling and overnight stays involved, 4-6 times per year
