Job description

6 month contract initially with option to extend

Interim Contract Supply Chain/Material Associate

 

•            Experience of sourcing requirements of required materials in the UK if different to the US in terms of availability, volume, transportation and applicability for use in a GMP manufacturing

·                Experience in clean room/GMP as they will still need to assist with cleaning and other cleanroom associated duties

•            They need to have experience of the set up suppliers of equipment, raw materials, consumables, planned for spares etc in a GMP manufacturing environment

•            Worked with an online stock management system (previous experience with SageX3 is highly desirable but not essential)

•            Must have pharma experience and ideally cell therapy.

•            Clean room experience

•            Experience of working with raw materials, writing/reviewing material specifications and collating all documentation required to receive material onsite

•            Overseeing supply chain - ensuring all materials and consumables required for the manufacture and testing of the product are onsite in full when required

•            Setting up contracts with suppliers as necessary

•            Writing any documents/SOPs required to receive and transfer materials for use in the cleanrooms

•            Working with teams in Houston and Zurich to understand materials required for production in Stevenage

•            Factoring Warehouse space within sourcing requirements – managing finite warehousing space

•            Experienced in negotiating with a number of suppliers to ensure required materials are available for specific deadlines to support upcoming clinical trials

•            Experience in the planning for materials in a similar biotech/pharma environment covering overall logistics, timeline, suppliers/vendors and warehousing
