Working on a unique boat based water purification system which removes medicinal compounds from the treatment water used to combat disease threats in aquaculture.
Our new vessel will be operational in Norway throughout 2018 and requires a technically proficient team to operate and monitor our purification system, as well as record outputs in line with our regulatory guidelines. This shift based role (two weeks on, two weeks off) will be based onboard a comfortable vessel previously used to support the oil industry.
Manage and perform the analytical requirements of our new product launch in Norway alongside the team
Work with the team with the aim of developing an automated monitoring system for medicines in water treatment
Qualifications and experience:
Degree in Chemistry or equivalent experience
Extensive HPLC experience, operational and method development
Formulation and delivery experience
Excellent written and verbal communicator
Strong decision maker, ability to work well under pressure and act in the best interests of the project
Strong record keeping ability
Self-starter, able to spot problems before they arise and work with a team to solve them
A tolerant, team player capable of spending prolonged periods of time with their team
Self-motivated and autonomous with effective time management abilities
Location: Based at sea on a 2 week on, 2 week off rota. This vessel will be based in Norway in the first instance, with opportunity for global travel as the project advances.
