Job description

Hobson Prior are currently working with a global pharmaceutical organisation who are seeking a Country Study Manager to join them on a contract basis in Welwyn Garden City. Our client focuses on researching and developing novel medicines and marketing them once they have been developed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the oversight for all assigned studies at regional/country level in accordance with the overall project plan, manages and maintains accurate country/study level plans.
  • You will lead local study trams, represents Country/Region Clinical Operations at the global STM, and provides Global Teams with feedback from an Affiliate perspective.
  • Highlights deviations and risks in plans to relevant parties, develops and implements mitigation strategies as required.
  • Plans and executes country study goals and commitments and ensures compliance to relevant processes.
  • Coaches and provides support to responsible study team members.
  • Delivers study oversight, leadership and support to Contract Research Organisation staff to ensure overall deliver at the country and site level and interfaces with CRO Management regarding feedback on CRO staff performance as required.
  • Oversee the study feasibility, site monitoring performance, preparation of Risk Based Monitoring plans and ensure eTMF completeness and oversight of all relevant compliance activities for allocated studies.
  • May serve as global Country Study Representative as part of the global study team.

Requirements:

  • You will have a University degree or equivalent (preferably in a medical/science-related field and extensive experience and expertise in clinical research/development or related industry.
  • Extensive experience in clinical trial project management.
