VP of Medical Education

Hobson Prior are seeking a successful VP of Medical Education to join our client on a permanent basis. Our client is a global leader within the healthcare digital solutions industry and has an incredible network of doctors with 5 million members.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate grants and achieve grant targets from the healthcare industry by proposing appropriately targeted educational solutions.
• Apply for open RFPs for relevant educational programs.
• Help create a long-term roadmap for the organisation as well as improve the client's product offering on a day-to-day basis.
• Help create, deliver high quality educational content, and collate educational impact metrics for reporting to relevant stakeholders.
• Promote educational initiatives through methods of cold calling, networking at industry events, etc.
• Upward potential as the business succeeds and grows.
• Work closely with company executives and participate in strategy and tactical decisions to form a new global education business.
• Acts as an advisor as related to acquisition and integration related to education
• Available to provide input in hiring and training decision.

• Excellent new business development and relationship building skills.
• Self-driven.
• Effective communicator (very comfortable on the phone and communicating with others).
• Strong self-discipline & organizational habits.

Requirements:

• 3+ plus years of experience in the medical education industry, either as an educator or an industry member responsible for digital med ed in some form.
• Contacts with the relevant pharma/medtech grant officers and medical affairs teams in Europe.
• Demonstrated track-record for raising grants.
• Effective communicator, internal and external, with strong presentation skills.
• Tenacity, entrepreneurial spirit to drive new business.
