Hobson Prior are recruiting for as a Sr. Manager / Associate Director - Medical Education & Programs (MEP) to join a research-based biopharmaceutical company in Uxbridge. Our client is very patient-focused, whose scientific research has benefitted hundreds of thousands of people by ensuring medications are available to those who could otherwise not afford them.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will serve as global project management lead for Research Scholars Programme.
- Represent as the first point of contact with internal and external stakeholders and manage all aspects of internal and external programme communications.
- Deliver oversight of all logistics to ensure programme components meet expectations.
- Manage multi-million-dollar programme budget, monthly accruals and make budgetary decisions based perceived value.
- Review programme materials for accuracy and ensure alignment with the organisations corporate branding.
- Co-operate with multiple internal teams to gain approvals from Business Conduct, Promotional Review Committee, and other teams, as necessary.
- Manage planning calls, review meetings and Annual Scientific Exchange Program.
- Manage program promotions internally with stakeholders and externally with vendors.
- Collaborate with MEP program officers, Patient-Focused Medical Education & Strategy leadership, and therapeutic area leadership to ensure each RSP program is aligned with TA-specific strategic goals.
- Draft awardee and committee member contracts and manage the approval process with Business Conduct.
- Monitor Transfer of Value reporting in collaboration with the compliance team.
- Work with MEP program officers to drive Scientific Review Committee selection in timely manner.
- Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with the external vendors.
Key Skills:
- Analytical proficiency: logic, analytical skills and relevant experience to accurately define a problem and its potential solutions.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence senior management and establish effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Capacity to gain support through established channels and identify relevant stakeholders and resources needed for optimal execution.
- Demonstrated initiative, with excellent task management skills including objective setting, planning, prioritization, budgets, timelines, and meeting management.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge and application of project management principles, practices and industry standards.
- Vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Pre-event communications and post-event analysis that includes event analytics, identification of gaps and opportunities, and ability to improve efficiencies.
- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical environment and exhibit the ability to be proactive.
