Hobson Prior are currently seeking a Senior Statistician to join a leading global medical technology company. Our client is dedicated to creating products and therapies that transform day to day lives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out key statistical activities related to study design.
• Design and implement statistical methodologies and sample size calculations.
• Develop and perform quality control on study documents including protocols, Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP) and scientific reports/publications.
• Contribute to meetings with the regulatory authorities (FDA, EMEA) regarding Medical Device studies including answering questions for project audits.
• Perform SAS programming tasks including the quality control of programming outputs (TFLs, ADaM).

Key Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of and experience with CDISC SDTM/ADaM standards is desired.
• Being well organised, able to effectively prioritise workload and multi-task.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, sometimes under high pressure situations.
• Outstanding and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capability to complete tasks precisely with high attention to detail, when under time constraints.
• Computer literate with an ability to learn exclusive software.

Requirements:

• BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Informatics or a related subject, Msc is preferable.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Statistician within the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO.
• Excellent knowledge of SAS is a must.
